I fell asleep listening to a CD about The Mexican Codices
(Illustrated history books written by the Mayan Indians.)
I was in blissful slumber.
Then I rolled over in bed and was rudely awakened
when I hit my head on the speaker part of the CD player.
How I look on Day 3
I took this picture of myself--with no make-up on,
so you could see exactly what was black and blue.
Both Cherilee and Camille came up with the correct answer.

Wow! You must have been having one heck-uva dream to turm into a shiner like that one...ouch! Is that why you were smiling? Steve and I were going to guess a vending machine. We have the feeling that you are missing teaching a bit by giving us a multiple choice question... :)

I miss the students, but not all of those silly No Child Left Behind nonsensical assignments and busy work. Actually, I hated writing multiple choice questions because it is hard to come up with good alternate choices that don't give away the true answer. I guess I succeeded this time since it took so long for someone to guess it correctly. What happened was so bizarre, that I figured no one would ever guess how it happened unless I made it multiple choice.
The strange thing is that the tape player has been on Randy's side of the bed ever since he passed away. I couldn't stand all that space being empty. I missed him--so I just kept the CD/tape recorder there with a book or two every night. I needed to read or listen to something informative to get my mind on other things which helped me fall asleep.
I never had a problem until this week. I wonder what I did to hit it with such force that it gave me a black eye.

That was fun-probably not as fun for you, but I found it entertaining.
