Ah, well everyone knows that the location is 11 miles northeast of Gerlach, Nevada (90 miles (150 km) north-northeast of Reno). Formally known as Black Rock City, it is actually a temporary city on the playa of the Black Rock Desert in the U.S. state of Nevada.
Latitude: 40.647
Longitude: -119.267
I took the liberty of rounding the Long/Lat to the nearest thousandth. -You know so I don't come across as anal or something.
You both win! Steve was first, but Dee had the 90 miles NNE of Reno. Dee, you make me laugh; you even gave the latitude and longitude that I didn't even know. Next time, nobody will know when I will post the next one. It will be sometime in the next 7 to 10 days.
Bonnie, it occured to me that you might not have received my email. I sent it the same day I saw you had posted your email address and my email address on my blog--in fact I worked so long looking up recipes for you I was nearly late for church!
Did you get the email I sent? If not I'll resend. I removed your comment because you posted both your and my email address and there are people who have some kind of automatic scanning divice that picks up email addresses and then sells them to companies and you start getting a bunch of spam.
Bonnie, I didn't have your email address, so I hope you find this response to your Blog Book question here! I actually did it myself. I used Adobe Photoshop Elements and had Winkflash.com print it. My friend used Blurb.com and was happy with it. It has an option to "slurp your blog" and then you have to go through and edit it...make sure the pictures are large enough and that the text goes with the pictures. It's a hassle, but it's worth it, regardless of what software you use. I don't know of a service that will do it for you. Good luck! Feel free to contact me with other questions. Camille has my contact info. Leslie
see... I told you that these guys are savy - meaning Stevie and Dee! "Burning Man" is an expirement of community for 11 or so days in the middle of NO WHERE as Dee so aptly pinpointed - but a large part of the "community" is from the Bay Area - so wear yer blndfold, cause Mama yer gonna see some flesh. But the creativity is second to none anywhere else on the planet! About 6 years someone modified a Hummer into a traveling swimming pool, including diving board.
Umm, I never would have guessed that. Could you dumb down the question next time? I'm not that good, I'm good-don't get me wrong, but not that good. Maybe you could park it in front of an arby's, I could totally win that one!

It is at the Burning Man Festival in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada...near Sparks, Nevada. (We aren't in it for the prize...but, it is a fun game!)
I am impressed! Have you heard of this before?
Near Sparks, Nevada is a little broad.
You have the right event, but for the fun of it, let's see if someone else can pinpoint this particular photo a little more exactly.
